Just a few short weeks ago we had our annual family-friendly stewardship event at Grant Frontier Park. Where we spent two hours working together to care for our local park!
We were excited to welcome 8 kids and 8 adults, who teamed up to collect an impressive 80 gallons of trash from the park and surrounding area. Every bag picked up made a difference in helping keep our outdoor spaces clean and welcoming for everyone.
After the cleanup, everyone gathered for a creative activity and made fun leaf critter crafts using nature as inspiration. It was the perfect way to wrap up a morning of teamwork, learning, and family fun.
A huge thank-you to all the families who came out, rolled up their sleeves, and helped make Grant Frontier Park a little cleaner. We’re grateful for our wonderful community of volunteers!
