What a way to kick off summer! Our Young Professionals group came together for a Summer Kick Off Trash Pick Up — and what an impact they made!
12 incredible volunteers rolled up their sleeves and removed 144 gallons of trash (nearly 84 pounds!) from the South Platte River and surrounding parks. Every piece of litter pulled from the river helps protect wildlife, keep our parks beautiful, and ensure this vital resource can be enjoyed by people now and for generations to come.
We’re so grateful for the energy, teamwork, and dedication this group brought to the cleanup. You showed up for the river, and it shows!
Thank you for making a difference – we can’t wait to do it again soon.
