Fall Family South Platte Stewardship Day

GIVE BACK TO OUR PARKS AND OUR PLANET

Volunteer as a family to clean up a local park with SPREE at our FREE, family-friendly volunteer event! Start the day with a trash pick-up led by South Platte River Environmental Education (SPREE) staff. Afterwards, we’ll come together for some crafts and activities.
Adults and kids over 12 must attend with someone under 12.
No solo adult registrations will be accepted. Please look at our upcoming stewardship events to find one that is for adults and children over 12. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

WHAT TO BRING
- Weather appropriate clothing (hat, sunscreen, jacket, etc.)
- Closed toed shoes
- Full water bottle
- Snacks (breakfast will be provided)
LOCATION & PARKING
Location: Bear Creek Park (search for Sombrero Slide on google maps! Please note, this is *not* Bear Creek Lake Park
Parking: There is a free parking lot at the park.

This event is free. Prior registration is required because space is limited and a headcount is needed for project supplies
