GLC: Archery at Barr Lake State Park

Come to Barr Lake on Sunday, May 18 with the Greenway Leadership Corps (GLC). We’ll get to explore our state park and learn how to shoot using a bow and arrow! Barr Lake offers 12 shooting lanes with heavy-duty targets. The targets vary from 10 to 100 yards, giving beginner and advance shooters alike the opportunity to try it out and develop their skills.
Date: Sunday, May 18
Time: 12pm – 4pm
Location: We’ll meet at Johnson Habitat Park (JHP) in Denver and go to Barr Lake together. We’ll return to JHP in the afternoon.
Cost: FREE! But you must sign up because spots are limited
Who: High schoolers
Transportation: Transportation will be provided to the park and back. The trip is FREE and no experience in required. Lunch will also be provided. Students can get service hours for this project.
