GLC: Kayaking & Camping

Hang out on the water, camp under the stars, and experience the outdoors like never before! Join the Greenway Leadership Corps (GLC) for an unforgettable overnight trip.
This program is for high schoolers only. This event is designed for beginners, and no experience needed! Food, transportation, and all camping gear will be provided.
SCHEDULE
Friday: We’ll meet at Johnson Habitat Park at 8:30 am, and then meet up with Denver Parks & Rec, who will teach us the basics of kayaking, canoeing, & stand up paddleboarding on Evergreen Lake.
– Friday night: we will come back from the lake & spend the night camping with other families in the community at Johnson Habitat Park! And don’t worry, we’ll have access to running water and indoor bathrooms.
Saturday: We will pack up our tents and enjoy breakfast, and will be all done by 9 am.
**Please note, space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. You must be 14-18 to attend.**
