GLC: Kayaking & Camping

Paddle by day, camp under the stars, and experience the outdoors like never before! Join the Greenway Leadership Corps (GLC) for an unforgettable overnight trip. Denver Parks & Rec will teach you the basics of kayaking on a nearby lake, where we’ll stick together for safety, fun, and enjoying nature on the water.
After kayaking, we’ll return to Johnson Habitat Park to cook dinner over a fire, hang out by the river, and relax before setting up tents for the night. With access to running water and indoor bathrooms, you’ll have the perfect mix of adventure and comfort. In the morning, we’ll pack up, enjoy breakfast, and head out—refreshed and ready for summer!

As always, this GLC event is free, no experience is necessary, and all gear & food will be provided.
