GLC: Trail Building at Phantom Canyon
July 22 @ 8:00 am – July 24 @ 5:00 pm

Explore, star gaze, and restore trails at the beautiful private preserve. With the support of The Nature Conservancy, we take this annual trip to help conserve the land in Phantom Canyon, and it’s arguably the best trip of the year!
Food, transportation, and lodging will be provided. As always, no previous experience or gear is needed for this event. This event is free. You must be in high school to attend.
We will meet at Johnson Habitat Park on the morning of Tuesday, July 22 and stay in a cabin in Phantom Canyon Nature Preserve each night. We will do some fun exploring and activities when we arrive on Tuesday. Wednesday, we will do a trail building project led by Wildlands Restoration Volunteers. Thursday we’ll have a little time to hang out in the beauty of Phantom Canyon, and then drive back to Denver.
Service hours provided if needed for school.
When you sign up, more information will be emailed to you in early July.
