Pacifico Preserves South Platte Stewardship Day, presented by REI and AllTrails, needs your help restoring local parks along the South Platte River! In partnership with REI and AllTrails’ Better Trails Club, volunteer groups will assist with trash removal and habitat restoration to care for these vital green spaces and get them ready for a busy summer season.

• This event is intended for volunteers 12 years of age and older. Younger children are definitely welcome, but please note there will not be any child specific stewardship projects.
• Families with younger children may enjoy the experience offered at Spring Family Stewardship Day, an event catered to families with kiddos 12 years and younger.
• Teens can sign up for Greenway Leadership Corps stewardship day without a parent or guardian attending.

Location

REI Denver Flagship (1416 Platte Street, Denver, CO 80202) & Confluence Park

Parking instructions will be shared with all registered volunteers.

Schedule

8:00am – 8:30am:  Check In / Light Breakfast
8:30am – 11:00 am:  Volunteer Projects

11am – 12:30pm: REI & AllTrails’ Better Trails Club
After the trail work, join us at the REI Denver Flagship for lunch from Lily’s Cocina, games, community connection, and a store scavenger hunt for a chance to win a grand prize to fuel your next adventure.

• Closed-toed shoes
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Full water bottle
• Work gloves (used pairs will be available to borrow)
