Young Professionals Happy Hour Earth Day Volunteer Project (April 2026)
April 15 @ 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm
This April, join other young professionals to give back to our planet in honor of Earth Day. We’ll meet at Overland Pond Park to do a park clean up, and then enjoy some refreshments in the park.
Event Details
When: Wednesday, April 15
Trash Pick Up: 5:30-6:30 pm
Refreshments in the park: 6:30-7:30 pm
Where: Overland Pond Park
Who: This event is designed for young professionals who are looking to give back and meet some like-minded people
What: We will start by getting our hands dirty and doing a trash pick up along the South Platte River.
After we’ve wrapped up the clean-up, we’ll enjoy some snacks and beverages in the park.
What to Bring
TGF will provide trash gloves, trash grabbers, and hand-sanitizer.
We encourage you to bring:
- Weather appropriate clothing
- Close-toed shoes
- Layers
- Full water bottle
- A friend! Let’s grow this community!
This is a fun opportunity to spend some time outside, making a positive impact on our community. Not only will you be contributing to a cleaner, healthier river, but you’ll also have the chance to meet other young professionals who share your passion for the environment.
