Young Professionals Happy Hour Earth Day Volunteer Project

April 17 @ 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm

in stream trash pick up group

This April join other young professionals to give back to our planet in honor of Earth Day.  We’ll meet at City of Cuernavaca Park to do a park clean up, and then enjoy some refreshments in the park.

Event Details

When: Thursday, April 17
Trash Pick Up: 5:30-6:30pm
Refreshments in the park: 6:30-7:30pm
Where: City of Cuernavaca Park
Who: This event is designed for young professionals (whatever you interpret that as!) who are looking to give back and meet some like-minded people
What: We will start by getting our hands dirty and doing a trash pick up along the South Platte River. After we’ve wrapped up the clean-up, we’ll enjoy some snacks and beverages. If weather allows, we’ll do this in the park. If not, we will go to our office just down the street.

What to Bring

TGF will provide trash gloves, trash grabbers, and hand-sanitizer.

We encourage you to bring:

  • Weather appropriate clothing
  • Close-toed shoes
  • Layers
  • Full water bottle
  • A friend! Let’s grow this community!

This is a fun opportunity to spend some time outside, making a positive impact on our community. Not only will you be contributing to a cleaner, healthier river, but you’ll also have the chance to meet other young professionals who share your passion for the environment.

We can’t wait to see you there!
