Young Professionals Ugly Sweater Volunteer Project

We’re back! We had such a great time at the Young Professionals September trash pick up that we’re back with another opportunity to give back, network, and have some fun outside. This December join us for an Ugly Sweater Trash Pick Up on the morning of Saturday, December 7! We’ll meet outside the Starbucks in REI near Confluence Park. After a short trash pick up (on land this time), we’ll head to our office for some coffee and bagels.

Event Details

When: Saturday, December 7
Trash Pick Up: 9-10am
Networking Breakfast*: 10-11am
Where: Confluence Park, meeting by the Starbucks in REI
Who: This event is designed for young professionals (whatever you interpret that as!) who are looking to give back and meet some like-minded people
What: We will start by getting our hands dirty and doing an hour of trash pick up along the South Platte River. After we’ve wrapped up the clean-up, we’ll head back to our office for some breakfast foods and beverages, and a networking event! And don’t forget your ugly sweater!

What to Bring

TGF will provide trash gloves, trash grabbers, and hand-sanitizer.

We encourage you to bring:

• Your best ugly sweater
• Close-toed shoes
• Layers
• Full water bottle
• A friend! Let’s grow this community!

This is a fun opportunity to spend some time outside, making a positive impact on our community. Not only will you be contributing to a cleaner, healthier river, but you’ll also have the chance to meet other young professionals who share your passion for the environment.
