Reception on the River
Reception on the River is a networking fundraiser that celebrates the past, present, and future of our urban waterways. This event hosts over 300 local leaders in engineering, law, architecture, governmental entities, water provision and environmental non-profits. This evening offers live music, adult beverages, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and a chance to learn about ongoing water projects in our state.
Support The Greenway Foundation’s Mission at Our Reception on the River
Reception on the River is an Invitation-Only Event.
Greenway brings together the region’s largest champions of river and environmental stewardship in all of our projects, and Reception on the River is a night to network and learn from one another. Naturally, there is also plenty of entertainment and food to fuel a night spent in excellent company. Join us to learn about recent advances in The Greenway Foundation’s work and celebrate the future of our urban waterways that we are creating together.
This event benefits The Greenway Foundation’s integral work in our community to Revitalize Rivers and Reconnect Communities.

Revitalizing Rivers. Reconnecting Communities.
Greenway has been a catalyst for enhancing the South Platte River since for more than 50 years. Your support is vital to our work to fulfill this mission. We are here to protect and celebrate the heart of our city—the South Platte River— and provide greater access for the people who live, work, and play along its banks.
We invite everyone to help steward and enjoy our greatest Denver resource.
Keynote Speaker
In years past, Reception on the River features a local speaker who is connected to current projects or policies that impact our Colorado waterways. The Greenway Foundation has welcomed many guest speakers over the years, including some of the most recent individuals;
