Fall Riversweep 2015 Recap

FALL RIVERSWEEP
PRESENTED BY CH2M, MILLERCOORS, AND THE NATURE CONSERVANCY

Picture

This year’s Fall RiverSweep was a great success! Over 150 volunteers came out Saturday, September 26th to clean up our parks and the South Platte River! Volunteers picked up trash, removed plant debris, and painted park fixtures in 3 parks!

Originateve was on site to sort through all the collected trash! They pulled out all the materials that could be recycled or repurposed– diverting that waste from ending up in a landfill.

150 + Volunteers

550 Plants placed

12 cubic yards of willows removed

24 cubic yards of mulch spread

5 gallons of paint used

For all of the photos, check our the Facebook Album!
