Right before Easter Sunday, TGF was lucky to be invited to a community cook out in the Cole Neighborhood. Excited, screaming kiddos got their faces painted, played yard games and were wowed by DPR’s mobile climbing wall.
At one of our tables we crafted cute little bug jars out of colored paper and made cards with pipe-cleaner flowers. At the other, families had the chance to learn about some local Colorado wildlife, touch our treasured beaver pelt and play a few rounds of everybody’s favorite education game, “Whose Scat is That?!” All in all, it was a sunny and successful day for learning and connection.
