Picture

Looking for information on the 2019 event? It’s now called Citizens for the River!

Please join The Greenway Foundation for the Coors Light South Platte RiverFest presented by Elitch Gardens! The festival will run from 10 am – 8 pm on Saturday June 24th, and from 10 am – 6 pm on Sunday June 25th. Here is just a few of the amazing things happening at RiverFest this year:

Standup paddleboard demos will be available both in the large pool on Little Raven St. and in the Cherry Creek. Feeling competitive? Professionals and novices can sign up for the SUP races! Adults and kids are also invited to sign up for a tube race down the rapids in the South Platte River.

Activity bracelets for kids grant unlimited access to the rock climbing wall, slack-lining, SUP demos, and the Kid’s Zone with JumpBunch! ($5/child or $12/family)

Fitness classes will be provided by Pearl Street Fitness and SoundDown before the festival officially beings each day. Please bring your own mat!

We have nine musical acts lined up for the whole weekend. The full music lineup can be found here!

A variety of vendors will be on-site selling beer, food, sporting equipment, and more!

Slack-lining and the rock-climbing wall will be back this year! Originateve will also return to create another sculpture age cans during the event. To look at the entire event schedule for this two-day festival, please click here.

All proceeds from this event benefit The Greenway Foundation!
