Fall Riversweep is Next Week: Join Us for Kickball Too

The Fall RiverSweep presented by MillerCoors, CH2M, and The Nature Conservancy will be held at Fishback Park. Please check in with Parks and Recreation staff from 8:00-8:30 am, grab some breakfast, and projects will begin at 9:00 am. Spend a few hours enhancing our parks, and then join us for lunch at Fishback Park. This event is free to attend, but registration is required. 

For our Kids RiverSweep, we are starting a little later this fall to let families sleep in. The event will once again be held at City of Cuernavaca Park, but registration will take place form 9:00-9:30 am, with projects running from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Activities with SPREE (South Platte River Environmental Education) staff from 10:00-11:00 am, and lunch being provided starting at 11:00 am! Originateve will also be joining us to help the kids built mini-boats from plastic bottles! This event is free to attend, but registration is required. 

When the work is done, we invite everyone to meet us down at City of Cuernavaca Park for a kickball tournament from 1:00-6:00pm! If your team registered for Fall RiverSweep, you will receive $100 of your kickball team registration fee!  The standard cost per team will be $420/team of 12 people, which includes: tournament t-shirt, minimum of 3 games, DJ providing music all afternoon, prizes for the winners, and after the game drink specials at our after party!
