Party for our Planet

party for our planet 2023 childrens museum_jillian

Last Saturday was an incredible day for the SPREE team as they joined forces with the Children’s Museum to celebrate Earth Day at its annual Party for Our Planet event. With over 1,000 attendees each day, the team was thrilled to engage with the 500 curious kids and adults who stopped by their table.

SPREE’s booth was a hive of activity as visitors played classic games like “Whose Scat Is That?” and had a chance to touch a real beaver pelt. But the real showstopper was the recycled flower craft made from egg cartons, which sparked the imagination of young minds and inspired them to think about sustainable ways to create.

The team was overjoyed to see so many kids engaged in learning and was thrilled to give away 50 dog bags and 30 Drain to Stream stickers. It was heartening to see so many families of Denver come together to celebrate our planet and its wonders.

The SPREE team couldn’t have imagined a better way to celebrate Earth Day and the Children’s Museum’s Party for Our Planet event.
If you are interested in receiving dog bags, check out the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure’s (DOTI) website linked here for more information.
