Resume Rockstars With Greenway Leadership Corps

Picture

Last Thursday, the Greenway Leadership Corps (GLC) met at Johnson Habitat Park. A crew of eleven high school students came to SPREE headquarters to work on their resumes from high schools around Denver. We went over what goes in a resume and what different resumes can look like.

Students then completed a series of questions to help them figure out what skills and experiences they have that are appropriate to include in a resume. Questions ranged from “If one of your friends at school were to brag about you, what would they say?” to “Which subjects are you best at in school?”

As students worked on their questions, we also enjoyed pizza and watched the breathtaking nature documentary series, Planet Earth, exploring the animals and ecosystems of the mountains.
