This year the over 275 people joined us for the CDM Smith Reception on the River presented by MillerCoors! The event was held again at the beautiful Centennial Gardens. The night featured food, drinks, and networking between water-minded individuals. We heard engaging and thoughtful remarks from Dr. Anthony Frank the President for the Colorado State University and Chancellor of the Colorado State University System; the event’s keynote speaker. The Greenway Foundations’ Executive Director Jeff Shoemaker, and The Water Connection’s Director Devon Buckels announced the completion of the Chatfield Reallocation Project Environmental Pool! The project will result in the additional 500 acre-feet of water storage at Chatfield Reservoir to be released during low-flow for environmental and recreational benefits!
At the event, Originateve showed off the amazing process they are making on a sculpture of a beaver made out of recycled aluminum cans.
