Last week, high school students from the Greenway Leadership Corps (GLC) met down at Grant-Frontier Park, which is currently undergoing major renovations as part of the larger River Vision Implementation Plan (RVIP). After touring the “park in progress” and having a chance to hear from the lead landscape engineer working on the project, GLC students will put in some service work hours by cleaning up the nearby (and recently renovated) Pasquinel’s Landing.
Many thanks to thank Owen Snell from Denver Parks & Recreation for showing us around the construction site!
Greenway Leadership Corps (GLC) is a youth group in Denver for high school students to learn more about the environment and become active, informed citizens. Click here for more information on the program!
