We had a fantastic turnout out at Greenway Untapped this week! We had over 65 people attend– our largest Greenawy Untapped event yet! We had a panel of speakers share their experiences and expertise on Climate Change. The panel then answered questions from the audience about goals for sustainability, success of public outreach in other cities, the use of groundwater storage to combat climate change related water shortage, liberal bias in higher education, and many other topics!
Thank to you to Michael Thomas from Denver Water, Professor Richard Wagner from Metro State University at Denver, and Associate Professor Keah Schuenemann from Metro State University at Denver for participating in our panel. I also want to thank Devon Buckels, the Director of The Water Connection, for speaking about local efforts for our waterways in Denver. Also want to thank the One World One Water Center at Metro State University at Denver for being a wonderful partner for this event! Thank you to The Crafty Fox for allowing us to use their space! |
