Do Good for the River
Grab your friends and join The Greenway Foundation for our Happy Hour Cleanups! Spend an evening outside, help keep the South Platte River clean, and connect with other young professionals who share your passion for giving back.
Clean the River. Meet Great People. Enjoy the Park.
Looking for a fun, hands-on way to make a difference after work? Hosted once a month from April through October, our Happy Hour Cleanups bring together young professionals and community members who want to give back to Denver’s favorite waterway. Not only will you be contributing to a cleaner, healthier river, but you’ll also get to unwind outdoors, meet like-minded people, and celebrate your hard work with pizza, drinks, and great company in the park.
Happy Hour Cleanup Series
The ultimate after-work social with a purpose.
Whether we’re clearing litter along the riverbanks or gearing up for our annual in-stream cleanup—where we actually wader up and get into the river to haul out trash—our monthly meetups balance real environmental stewardship with a relaxed, social atmosphere.
What’s Included
All Cleanup Gear Provided: Trash grabbers, heavy-duty gloves, bags, and safety equipment.
Post-Cleanup Social: Free pizza, non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks in the park after the work is done.
A Built-In Community: An easy, welcoming environment to meet fellow young professionals who love the outdoors.
