Step out of your comfort zone
Try something new. Greenway Leadership Corps (GLC) provides Denver high school students a chance to learn more about the environment and become active, informed community members. Once a month, The Greenway Foundation hosts a free GLC event, often down by the South Platte River. Everyone is welcome.
GLC events are free and transportation is always provided if the event is outside of Denver. Keep in mind no experience is necessary, there is no commitment to come to a certain number of events, and all gear will be provided – as well as lunch!
Greenway Leadership Corps members:
- Volunteer on environmental projects
- Go on exciting outdoor adventures all around Colorado
- Explore environmental careers
- Learn something new about the environment
- Develop life skills and leadership abilities
- Make new friends
GLC Updates are just for Greenway Leadership Corps events.
We promise not to send you information about anything else, or share your info with anyone else.

Greenway Leadership Corps opportunities include trail building, trash pick-ups, tree planting, community science, and much more!
Environmental Education & Leadership
In addition to volunteer work projects to help the South Platte River, Greenway Leadership Corps members complete team-building exercises, participate in career development opportunities, and have a chance to hear from different guest speakers and local organizations in the environmental field.
