RiNo Art Park & RiNo Promenade (Completed)
There is now new green space and community gathering spaces where historically there were warehouses, rail and manufacturing industries. In August of 2021, Denver celebrated the opening of the RiNo Art Park along with the groundbreaking of the RiNo Promenade. This latest park along the South Platte River invites neighbors and visitors into recreational opportunities for the River North (RiNo) community and offers an entry point to the River.
With play areas, public art and stormwater gardens, the park also features two repurposed buildings activated by the River North Art District to provide art programming, culture events, and entertainment. The RiNo Promenade replaces a 4+ block of Arkins Court, creating outdoor recreation and further connection to the River, with additional improvements on the way.
