Adams County South Platte River Vision and Implementation Plan

Adams County South Platte River Vision and Implementation Plan (Ongoing)

A collaboration in stewardship will bring new life to the 17 miles of the South Platte River traversing through Adams County. The result of this vision will include an interconnected open space system, offer greater accessibility to the river, and improve the quality of life for residents of the adjacent communities.

All of the partners are fully committed to ecosystem restoration, mitigating flood hazards, and advancing recreational and accessibility-based opportunities for the river and the surrounding neighborhoods. This restoration opens the way for economic opportunities alongside this exceptional waterway.
